1 year from now...

Call me old fashioned- but I like to write by hand

Time seems to travel so fast. We had our first deep frost for the season, so many of the flowers are done for the season. What is amazing is to think of is one of my projects I have been working on is my book about Seasonal Flower Bouquets of Atlantic Canada- it is going to be published and officially in print 1 year from now!! I've teamed up with Nimbus Publishing and the work has been ongoing this year on top of all our flowers and weddings. I feel so blessed and privileged to have such a team helping mesh everything together as the last legs of the project are now in sight.
 Pinch me, I'm dreaming!

Bohemian Forest Photo Shoot

I am so lucky to be able to partake in a few styled photo shoots each season.
One that is coming up is themed a Bohemian Forest Styled Shoot, organized by Emily Seaboyer of Locusart Jewellery.

Here is a sneak peek of my inspiration- a bridal bouquet I created earlier in the season-
It is a loose cascade of greenery with a few pops of peach. Wild, textural and woodsy.
I am oh so excited for this!

Infused Edibles

One of our new amazing things we have been working on is a new line of Edible Infusions.

Lavender Honey
Lavender Sugar
Rose Petal Sugar

Basil Infused Sea Salt

The infused sugars are with Organic Cane Sugar, and our homegrown flowers and herbs. Use the flavored sugar sprinkled on berries, in tea, or as a finishing sugar on cookies &

muffins. To bring out the full flavor of the sugars, use as a substitute in the baking recipe- creaming the sugar with butter enhances the flavors. Use about 1/2 to 2/3 of a cup, and the finish the rest of the recipe with your regular sugar.

Lavender Sugar
I got into using infused sugar & salt as a way to dress up my ordinary recipes- Easily and Effortlessly.
Rose Petal Sugar
Basil Infused Sea Salt
For the infused salt, I am currently dipping my fresh tomatoes in it, but it has plenty of uses for fresh and roasted veggies, meats and savory breads.

Drool Worthy Lavender Honey

You can buy it at our Saturday market, or contact us directly.
